About the Role
Drive food safety standards and systems across multiple countries, and elevate food safety culture. This role supports Factor_ operations by managing International Safety Quality and Operational Compliance, mitigating risk, and ensuring safe, high-quality ingredients for consumers.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Food Safety & Quality strategy for products supplied to Factor_ manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with HelloFresh Group standards.
- Lead strategic and innovative projects to ensure a consistent supply of safe, high-quality products.
- Develop templates, procedures, and processes to support standardized implementation of central policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating information sharing and best practices across regions.
- Translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Procurement, Factor_ teams, and suppliers.
- Proactively identify and assess key risks within categories and establish appropriate mitigation methodologies.
- Manage supplier and product onboarding in line with HelloFresh Group requirements.
- Analyze customer complaint trends related to product quality and packaging to identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct root cause analyses across the supply chain and implement corrective actions.
- Support Factor_ teams with serious customer complaint investigations and recalls.
- Conduct Food Safety & Quality audits at supplier production sites against HelloFresh Group standards.
- Role-model HelloFresh Group values and the International Safety, Quality & Operational Compliance vision.
Requirements
- More than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing, Assembly, Distribution, Retail or a comparable food-related environment.
- International experience is desirable.
- Solid knowledge of relevant government food regulations across the UK and wider Europe.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP and COSHH.
- Experience with internal and external audits is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external partners.
- Ability to understand and meet stakeholder expectations and needs.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to adapt confidently to change and new challenges.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data manipulation.
- Intermediate to advanced Google Suite skills, including G-Sheets/Excel, G-Docs/Word and G-Slides/PowerPoint.
- Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a flexible, can-do attitude.
- Excellent English skills.
