About the Role
To braze, weld, and clean tubular components in a safe and efficient manner while meeting customer and company standards for form, fit, function, quality, and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks as required for each assigned task
- Execute assignments as given by the Brazing Group Leader
- Follow all work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Meet or exceed all quality and quantity expectations
- Accept reassignment to other departments based on workload needs
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance as assigned
- Participate in problem-solving activities and customer complaint resolution
- Immediately report equipment, process, material, safety, or quality concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and assist with larger facility clean-up efforts
- Adhere to all company policies and work rules
- Read and interpret product blueprints and technical data sheets
- Set up and properly use protractors, jigs, fixtures, and other tools as required
- Ensure completed products are stored in proper bin locations
Requirements
- Ability to understand and complete work assignments with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and quality orientation
- Ability to be cross-trained and perform multiple functions within the department
- High attention to detail and quality
- Self-motivated and task-driven
- Basic math, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, push, pull, and work in a fast-paced environment
- This position requires physical strength and endurance, including repetitive tasks, lifting up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and working in a fast-paced production environment.
