About the Role
As a Product Owner, you will guide products through their entire lifecycle, from ideation and realization to market launch and further development. You will create compelling product strategies, market analyses, and marketing concepts. You will collaborate closely with development, marketing, sales, and service teams, keeping a constant eye on the market and competition. You will analyze technical requirements and develop technically sound product solutions. You will independently manage industry focuses and serve B2B customers, sharing your technical expertise through practical training for employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Accompany products through their entire lifecycle – from idea to realization to market launch and further development.
- Create compelling product strategies, market analyses, and marketing concepts.
- Work closely and successfully with development and the departments of marketing, sales, and service as a team.
- Analyze technical requirements and develop technically convincing product solutions.
- Independently manage industry focuses and B2B customers.
- Provide practice-oriented technical expertise and conduct training for employees and customers.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Good knowledge in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries is an advantage.
- Above-average technical affinity and experience in B2B marketing.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Strong understanding of technical systems and complex contexts.
- Very good communication skills (also in English).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and to engage in intercultural work.
