About the Role
ADL is seeking an experienced Consultant to contribute to capability development within the UK. The role focuses on delivering operational and supply chain improvements for UK and global clients, with an emphasis on Operations, Procurement & Supply chain strategy and performance improvement across Industrial, Manufacturing, and Transportation sectors. The consultant will be instrumental in project delivery and supporting internal team initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Be central to the development and delivery of solutions for large clients, working with senior stakeholders at client locations in the UK and internationally.
- Support the recruitment and development of the ADL team.
- Demonstrate intellectual strength and flexibility to understand complex problems and develop workable solutions.
- Provide rigorous analysis from relevant and accurate datasets to drive fact-based decision making.
- Collaborate with Partners, Managers, and Principals to achieve great client outcomes and project margins for ADL.
- Support the scoping of new client opportunities and assist in the development of pitches and proposals.
- Work within a team environment, committed to achieving solutions, and support the development of your team and the wider practice.
- Bring a strong interest and commitment to developing and delivering pragmatic solutions for clients.
- Contribute to impactful thought leadership for business development, engagement delivery, and marketing to build ADL’s profile.
- Demonstrate strong presentation and facilitation skills, presenting robust and evidence-based messages succinctly and creatively.
- Develop and produce high-quality output against project objectives and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Multiple years of relevant experience, including delivery of Operations, Procurement, and Supply chain projects (at least two of these).
- Relevant project and sector experience to enable immediate contribution.
- Ability to deliver strategy assignments at senior levels.
- Track record of delivering relevant projects.
- Highly motivated, energetic, entrepreneurial, hard-working, and creative.
- Aptitude for client relationship building and motivation for selling and business development.
- Commitment to the highest professional standards of quality and integrity.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
- Strong personal skills, team player, and easy to work with.
