About the Role
This role leads, manages, and mentors a team of Business Analysts, ensuring change initiatives are delivered using the Council’s Digital Services’ Project Delivery Framework. The team defines needs, recommends solutions, and works closely with Project Managers to deliver successful outputs, outcomes, and benefits on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Undertake investigative work to determine business opportunities and specify effective business processes.
- Provide strategic oversight and quality assurance across all business analysis activities.
- Oversee the definition and management of the process for deploying and integrating new digital capabilities into the business.
- Ensure delivery of a high-quality user experience, while mentoring and developing the wider Business Analyst team.
Requirements
- Full BCS Business Analysis Professional Diploma (Formally known as ISEB Business Analysis Diploma), IIBA Business Analyst certification or equivalent certification.
- Enhanced experience in successfully delivering complex digital projects within local authorities or public sector.
- Bachelor’s degree.
