About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver complex nuclear safety cases and safety assessments.
- Support safety substantiation, engineering justification and hazard management activities.
- Contribute to regulatory engagement and licensing programs.
- Provide technical assurance across major defence and nuclear projects.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary engineering, design and programme delivery teams.
- Support the development of Australia's sovereign nuclear capability and future nuclear workforce.
- Learn from and collaborate with leading nuclear specialists from across our global business.
Requirements
- A degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or another STEM discipline, or a completed relevant industrial apprenticeship.
- Experience delivering nuclear safety case, safety assessment or safety assurance activities.
- Experience within defence nuclear, civil nuclear or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- A commitment to technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Chartered Engineer status or progress towards chartership.
- Must obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance (Australian NV1 or UK SC/DV equivalent).
