About the Role

You will own the technical design for agentic AI, transforming business requirements into secure, scalable, and reusable agent solutions. You will establish patterns for reliable agent operation and ensure adherence to central governance, preventing shadow AI.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements and redesigned workflows from the AI Workflow Analyst into full technical designs.
• Design agent orchestration, system connections, data integration, and human intervention points.
• Establish and maintain enterprise patterns, standards, and reusable building blocks for agent design.
• Implement security-first designs, including least-privilege access, separation of orchestration and execution, and secure prompt handling.
• Ensure solutions align with Client Airport’s AI governance framework, including the AI Register, AI Impact Assessments, risk-tiered controls, ISO 42001, and Australian Voluntary AI Standards.
• Guide and quality-check AI Developers, review builds for reliability, scalability, and compliance, and make build-or-buy and platform decisions.

Requirements

• A track record designing enterprise integrations across multiple systems using APIs, events, and data pipelines.
• A strong security architecture background covering identity, least privilege, and data protection.
• Experience establishing reusable patterns, standards, and reference architectures for a delivery team.
• The judgment to balance speed of delivery against reliability, scalability, and governance.
• Clear communication skills that bridge business needs and technical design, and effectively engage stakeholders.
