About the Role

The Investment and Partnerships team is responsible for acquiring schools globally. This fast-paced team works across global time-zones to grow our family of schools. The role will be located in London, directly supporting the Investment & Partnerships team. The individual will be expected to work across numerous cultures and geographies, collaborating closely with Investment Directors globally. The successful candidate will be at the center of our fast-paced team, responsible for writing and updating market macro-research on various geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Writing in-depth research on economic, political, and social conditions across a variety of geographies using a clear referencing system.
  • Evaluating potential risks and opportunities associated with operating in specific geographies.
  • Mystery shopping of schools to gather key data points.
  • Conducting cold calls to identify and engage potential clients, gather valuable information, foster relationships, and support business development initiatives.
  • Maintaining the proprietary database of schools to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Developing market knowledge and identifying potential acquisitions of individual assets or groups.
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Demonstrating a fast learning ability, agility, and adaptability to changing demands.
  • Exhibiting a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to professional excellence.

Requirements

  • University degree level minimum.
  • 1-5+ years of experience in a consulting, business, market research, education, or a related field.
  • Collegiate team focus.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to understand business drivers.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Confident, articulate communicator and presenter.
  • Personable and a successful networker and persuader.
  • Ability to manage own priorities and work independently.
  • Self-starter, motivated to succeed, and able to deal effectively with ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with the education sector is an asset.
