About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Business Analyst to contribute to building our communications capability within the SNAPP peer review system. This role emphasizes a user-centric approach and involves leveraging analysis tools to inform decisions that align with business objectives and user needs. You will collaborate with a cross-functional agile delivery team and business stakeholders to understand complex business problems, define work, and identify key opportunities within a diverse and inclusive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to understand goals and vision, and identify business needs through strong business insight.
- Orchestrate collaboration within the team and externally with business stakeholders while balancing competing priorities.
- Communicate requirements alignment to the development team using clear storytelling techniques.
- Collaborate and provide business analysis support to the product manager, business sponsors, SMEs, and the team during development.
- Unearth root causes of pain points and validate business opportunities and problems using data analytics and quantitative analysis.
- Prioritize competing demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Map, analyze, and validate information flows within a complex organizational setting and contribute to process and system design improvements.
- Plan, organize, and lead workshops that generate ideas and resolve problems.
- Champion business analysis best practices and principles within the BA community.
- Challenge and influence decisions, focusing on customer and business value.
- Monitor, track, and communicate progress and issues relating to the project using project management practices.
- Capture information in team Jira and ensure it is kept up to date.
- Develop an understanding of the technology stack, system capabilities, and data landscape to support effective solution delivery.
- Engage in and/or facilitate ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, planning, prioritization, steering sessions, story kick-offs, collaborative analysis and design workshops, showcases, and retrospectives.
- Work with stakeholders to understand, analyze, and scope new work.
- Support team members in problem-solving activities to remove blockers and complete agreed-upon work.

- Ability to quickly gain context of the product and user space and its fit into the bigger picture of the programme landscape.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate concepts and ideas from technical and functional business perspectives effectively.
- Proven experience in managing and resolving conflict with stakeholders.
- Ability to use available data to inform decisions and build better products.
- Strong focus on high-quality customer experience and sustainable solutions.
- Proactively identifies pain points and openly addresses any form of gaps.
- Outstanding analytical ability to solve complex problems.
- Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Uses drive, creativity, and initiative to move the team forward.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement and innovation across teams.

- Good command of English is essential.
