About the Role

Axiom is seeking Real Estate Lawyers to support a variety of clients across industries with commercial property and real estate matters. This role offers practical, business-focused legal advice and involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, portfolio management, property development and asset management.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of real estate documentation, including leases, agreements for lease, licences, sale and purchase agreements, development agreements, option agreements and related property documents.
• Support property transactions and projects, including due diligence, title review, landlord and tenant matters, property finance and coordination with external counsel.
• Work closely with legal, property, asset-management, finance, development, procurement and business teams to manage legal risk and deliver commercial outcomes.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK with relevant real estate or commercial property experience.
• Experience advising on one or more areas of commercial real estate, including leasing, acquisitions and disposals, development, property management, portfolio work or landlord and tenant matters.
• Experience gained in private practice, in-house or on secondment, supporting commercial, corporate, real estate, retail, infrastructure or property-focused organisations.
• Strong commercial awareness, drafting, negotiation, stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic and business-focused advice.
