About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and communicative Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team in Berlin. Reporting to the Payroll Team Lead for Couriers in DE, you will play a key role in processing payroll, preparing related activities, and ensuring accuracy and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional with theoretical knowledge in payroll to gain practical experience in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Responsibilities

Validate, distribute, and prepare taxes and deductions.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
Generate reports for management and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
Ensure all payments comply with collective agreements, laws, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and distribute payroll information to employees.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.

Requirements

Advanced education in Payroll, Accounting, or a related field.
Entry-level position with a focus on theoretical knowledge; several years of experience in payroll accounting are required.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
Effective communication skills to explain payroll, policies, and practices.
Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with team members.
Good knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
Good German and English language skills.
