About the Role
As a Fundraiser with a focus on Copywriting, you will be part of our six-person Fundraising & Engagement team. This team connects dedicated individuals with our mission as donors or volunteers, securing funding for our work through creative initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Craft compelling copy for mailings, landing pages, and engagement communications for fundraising and engagement initiatives.
- Develop and optimize copy aligned with supporter journeys and campaign objectives.
- Edit copy from other team members to ensure consistent tone and messaging.
- Plan and coordinate mailing dispatches, including templates, approvals, and sending.
- Continuously develop copy based on test results, performance data, and learnings in a data-driven manner.
Requirements
- Completed university degree or vocational training in Fundraising, Marketing, or Business Administration, or equivalent demonstrated qualifications and references for career changers.
- Minimum of three years of experience in online fundraising for a non-profit organization.
- Ability to formulate texts for diverse target audiences.
- Proficiency in editing texts from others and providing constructive feedback.
- Secure handling of CRM systems.
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana, monday.com, Jira, or similar applications for organizing tasks, coordination, and project progress.
- Structured and independent work style with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and work methodically under pressure, especially when facing deadlines.
- Flexibility to react to unforeseen circumstances and find suitable alternatives.
- Experience in the reflective use of AI tools in the daily work, understanding the need for clear task definitions, sufficient context, and careful review.
- Collaborative spirit, comfortable working with others even in a remote setting.
