About the Role
Plan, coordinate, and manage complex data center projects for major clients, covering server, storage, network, and virtualized environments. Support projects in both on-premises and cloud settings, ensuring efficient, secure, and smooth implementation of data center solutions.
Responsibilities
- Advise and support renowned clients in planning, developing, and implementing modern data center solutions, both on-premises and in hybrid/public cloud environments.
- Analyze existing IT infrastructures, identify optimization potential, and develop tailored solutions.
- Manage complex consolidation and migration projects.
- Oversee technical implementation and ensure seamless integration of new systems into the existing IT landscape.
- Collaborate with sales to engage clients and guide them successfully through their projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of professional experience in planning and implementing data center solutions, e.g., in high availability concepts, capacity planning, automation, converged infrastructures, data center migrations, and network topologies (LAN/SAN).
- In-depth knowledge of planning and implementing cloud infrastructures (e.g., Microsoft Azure or AWS).
- Creativity, teamwork, and confident demeanor.
- Occasional willingness to travel within Germany.
- Fluent German language skills (minimum level C1) are mandatory.
