About the Role
This role involves performing plumbing duties, managing stock, surveying jobs, and updating records. The position requires a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing duties.
- Keep records of stock.
- Survey jobs and notify team leader of materials required.
- Keep a PDA up to date.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Report deficiencies in systems of work or equipment.
- Use work equipment and PPE properly.
- Report issues or training needs to Line Manager.
- Take reasonable care for health and safety of self and others.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years commercial Plumbing experience (hospitals, schools, residential buildings, university’s, offices).
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.
- Proven track record within the industry with a good steady work record.
- Must be willing to provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice.
- Must be flexible in working patterns.
- Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Must have the right to work in the UK and provide documentation.
