About the Role
RELEX Solutions is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its global Legal Team, supporting business teams in EMEA and APAC. This role involves advising on a wide range of legal matters within a fast-growing international software company, shaping commercial decisions, and enabling confident business progression.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, partner, and vendor contracts.
- Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance topics relevant to our SaaS business, including privacy, data and AI legislation.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across different business functions to enable smart, practical decision-making.
- Report to Legal Director based in Helsinki.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm, with exposure to commercial contracting.
- In-house experience from the technology sector is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance matters relevant to technology / software business, such as privacy, data and AI legislation.
- Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
- An enthusiastic adopter of AI technologies. Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Law degree with strong academic credentials.
- A qualified solicitor or barrister of good standing in England & Wales. Equivalent qualification may be considered.
- Based in the United Kingdom, preferably close to London.
