About the Role

We are seeking a Social Pedagogy Lead for our Drug and Addiction Counseling, psychosocial support for substituted individuals, and therapeutic supported individual living projects in Treptow-Köpenick, starting October 1, 2026. The facility is easily accessible via public transport (S-Bahn station Spindlersfeld). The position is full-time, ranging from 31.2 to 39 hours per week (80-100% of standard working hours).

Responsibilities

Provide professional leadership for the facility and responsible management of daily operations.
Further develop and ensure professional standards, actively participating in quality assurance processes.
Advance our support services for substituted individuals and those with substance control issues.
Develop our drug and addiction counseling services.
Contribute to conceptual development.
Manage and develop personnel.
Actively participate in relevant committees and networks for professional networking and advocacy.
Serve as a liaison for public relations and support the facility's external representation.
Actively participate in the management team of vista gGmbH.
Conduct drug and addiction counseling and provide support services for social participation for our target groups.

Requirements

A completed degree in Social Work or a comparable qualification is required.
Professional expertise and willingness for economic and personnel management of the facility are desired.
Interest in regular professional exchange and continuous professional development.
Strong communication skills, a clear understanding of roles, and enjoyment of teamwork.
Intercultural counseling competence and confident interaction with external partners.
Willingness to perform a limited amount of outreach activities, e.g., in correctional facilities or clinics.
An accepting and open-minded fundamental attitude.

Salary/Compensations

€50,750 - €58,750 gross per year for a full-time position, depending on individual experience.
