About the Role

The Director of Program holds end-to-end accountability for program components that guide fellows from early-stage ideas to impactful projects. This role sets strategic direction for project support infrastructure and acceleration partnerships, and owns the associated budget. The Director translates program strategy into results by directing Program Leads and ensuring coherence across the fellow journey.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for end-to-end program components, including venture coaching, the AI venture coach, and Project Scholarships, to achieve scaled outcomes for 250 fellows annually.
• Shape and approve programming that leads to concrete environmental innovation, holding accountability for the associated budget.
• Prioritize investment across program components based on field experience and data to drive environmental and entrepreneurial results.
• Set strategy and oversee execution for venture coaching and Project Scholarships.
• Supervise the milestone structure and community-based project support elements.
• Provide relevant content for the learning platform to support fellow project milestones.
• Advise on partnership priorities based on fellow needs.
• Manage program-related KPIs, including Year 1 and Year 2 applied program outcomes.
• Own budgetary responsibility across program components.
• Cooperate with the Compliance Officer to ensure financial stewardship of Project Scholarship funds and the overall budget.
• Direct the Year 1 and Year 2 Program Leads, ensuring consistent standards and coordination.
• Contribute to a high-functioning directors team, fostering cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and scaling program components, coaching, acceleration, and portfolio management.
• Track record managing budgets across multi-component program portfolios.
• Strong people leadership experience directing program teams across cohorts or program years.
• Data-driven approach to prioritizing program investment.
• Experience managing significant budgets and teams with multiple freelancers.
