This role directs venture coaches, evaluates program components against Year 2 goals, and leads Project Scholarship execution and reporting. The lead ensures fellows are coached toward growing planet-positive projects and manages their transition into the alumni community and ecosystem support.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and manage up to 4 FTE venture coaches across time zones, sustainability themes, and project development.
  • Ensure Year 2 fellows receive high-quality coaching to grow and scale their planet-positive projects.
  • Uphold coaching standards set by the Director of Program across the Year 2 coaching team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and professional development for venture coaches.
  • Plan and adjust venture coach capacity as shifts require, managing in-house and freelance team members.
  • Execute the Year 2 program strategy, ensuring fellows are set up for long-term project impact.
  • Evaluate the program for coherence and effectiveness against Year 2 entrepreneurial stages and learning goals.
  • Update learning modules, expert sessions, and venture coaching offerings, resolving gaps with the Director of Program.
  • Adapt Year 2 sequencing and delivery to remain responsive to cohort progress.
  • Coordinate with the Ecosystem Development team on follow-on opportunities, summits, pods, and local hubs.
  • Report on Year 2 results and KPIs to the Director of Program, focusing on project scholarship and project KPIs.
  • Track and share stories on the short- and long-term impact of entrepreneurial fellows.
  • Advise and coordinate with the Communications Department on fellow impact stories.
  • Translate reporting insights into continuous improvement actions for coaching, program delivery, and cohort support.
  • Maintain accurate, timely data on fellow progress to inform program-wide decision-making.
  • Ensure Project Scholarship funds are implemented and deployed as per Fellow contracts and reporting.
  • Manage mid-line and end-line Project Scholarship reporting for donor and annual reporting.
  • Cooperate with the Finance Department on Project Scholarship financial allocations and policies.
  • Own fellow communications regarding Year 2 programming.
  • Oversee the successful transition of Year 2 fellows into the alumni community and ecosystem opportunities.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in program management and team leadership within entrepreneurship, coaching, or cohort-based programs.
  • Experience in recruiting, performance management, and managing in-house/freelance capacity across time zones.
  • Proven experience designing and scaling program components (coaching, curriculum, portfolio management) to support planet-positive ventures through growth, scaling, and graduation.
  • Track record managing scholarship or grant funds end-to-end, including mid- and end-line financial/donor reporting, ideally in cooperation with finance functions.
  • Data-driven approach to prioritizing program investment based on field outcomes.
  • Experience reporting progress and KPIs on a regular cadence and translating insights into continuous improvement actions.
  • Experience coordinating program delivery and impact storytelling with adjacent functions (ecosystem, communications).
  • Experience owning structured transitions for participants moving into alumni communities or follow-on support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
