About the Role

KBR is seeking Expressions of Interest from talented Maritime and Coastal Engineers to contribute to significant maritime, coastal, energy, and defence infrastructure projects across Australia. You will partner with government and industry clients to deliver complex and nationally significant infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, assessment, and delivery of ports, harbours, wharves, jetties, and marine infrastructure.
• Structural analysis and design of maritime and waterfront assets.
• Asset remediation, rehabilitation, and lifecycle management.
• Preparation of technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Maritime infrastructure planning and project delivery.
• Working collaboratively with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Leading complex maritime and coastal infrastructure projects and design packages.
• Technical leadership, mentoring, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Project and design management, including delivery to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Review and assurance of engineering designs, documentation, and technical deliverables.
• Client engagement and stakeholder management.
• Proposal preparation, work winning, and business development activities.
• Managing multidisciplinary teams across studies, design, and project delivery phases.
• Coastal process investigations and assessments.
• Wave, hydrodynamic, and sediment transport modelling.
• Coastal protection design, including seawalls, revetments, and groynes.
• Dredging, reclamation, and sediment management projects, and coastal resilience, adaptation, and shoreline management studies.

Requirements

• Experience in ports, harbours, wharves, and jetties.
• Experience in marine structures and waterfront infrastructure.
• Experience in coastal process investigations and engineering studies.
• Experience in asset remediation and lifecycle management.
• Experience in maritime and coastal infrastructure planning, design, and delivery.
• Experience in structural analysis, numerical modelling, and engineering design.
• Experience in technical studies, engineering investigations, and feasibility assessments.
• Experience in project delivery within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
