About the Role
The Technical Solutions team enables Datadog's global growth by educating potential customers, satisfying existing ones, and ensuring their success. We share technical and product expertise through demos, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing support. As a growing global team, we collaborate to share knowledge and continuously improve our technical skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing training on platform utilization and identify/resolve technical support issues through multiple channels (ticketing system, live chat, screen sharing tools).
- Reproduce technical issues and dive deep into Datadog's 1000+ integrations.
- Obtain demo certification and lead product demonstrations for customers.
- Participate in product discussions with internal teams based on customer feedback.
- Conduct training as a specialist with advanced knowledge of Datadog product areas.
- Work at least 3 days per week at the Datadog office.
Requirements
- 2+ years of multi-channel technical support experience in a SaaS company.
- Experience using Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, or similar software.
- Engineers with troubleshooting and programming experience.
- Self-starters with attention to detail and a desire for continuous learning.
- Critical thinkers with a client-centric approach.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Programming experience and basic Linux knowledge.
- Ability to work on a rotational basis, including weekends.
- Business-level or native Japanese proficiency (speaking and reading/writing) is required for this position.
