About the Role

The Gersh Agency is hiring a highly motivated, detail-oriented Floater to support the mailroom in NYC. This role will work closely with agents and assistants in multiple departments, assisting with office administration and facilitating client submissions and resume updates. The ideal candidate has an interest in learning the business, can manage changing priorities, provide administrative support in a high-pressure environment, work well within a team, and has a passion for entertainment.

Responsibilities

Learn and master the Gersh phone/database system.
Cover Assistant desks and phones.
Read and cover scripts for consideration and send actor submissions.
Facilitate client processes, including updating resumes, filming auditions, reading with clients, clipping select scenes, and submitting client auditions.
Support the build-out of client materials, such as talent reels.
Assist talent in writing pitches for outreach support.
Provide administrative support, including calendar management and travel.

Requirements

1+ years of previous internships or work experience at an entertainment or management company, in a professional office setting.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, highly organized, and ability to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.
