About the Role

Connect your studies with practical experience and actively participate in environmental and nature conservation projects. Gain insights into the diverse tasks of our Environmental Planning and Nature Conservation department during your internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support in creating nature and species protection reports.
  • Collaborate on habitat mapping and field-based faunal surveys.
  • Research and analyze planning-relevant data (e.g., protected areas and species occurrences).
  • Process and manage data in GIS systems.
  • Participate in landscape planning and nature conservation projects.
  • Attend internal and external project meetings.
  • Assist with the evaluation, documentation, and processing of field data.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in studies for Ecology and Environmental Planning, Landscape Planning, Landscape Ecology, Biology, Forestry, or a comparable field.
  • Interest in nature and species protection, as well as environmental issues.
  • Willingness to learn, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
  • Structured and independent work style.
  • Teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of QGIS or other geoinformation systems is advantageous.
