About the Role
As a Coach (m/w/d) with StartHope@Home, you will support Arabic-speaking refugees and migrants in developing professional perspectives in their home countries, either through preparation for self-employment or for permanent employment. You will impart practical knowledge in marketing, sales, and finance. You will guide participants individually and in groups, identify potential, and collaboratively develop concrete professional prospects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group coaching sessions for refugees and migrants, developing individual professional prospects together.
- Support participants in preparing for self-employment or permanent employment in their home country.
- Impart practical knowledge in areas such as marketing, sales, and finance.
- Utilize startup consulting methods and tools, such as Business Model Canvas and Personas.
- Prepare and follow up on coaching sessions, reliably documenting coaching progress.
- Assist with network acquisition, maintenance, and expansion, as well as other organizational tasks within the project.
- Contribute to the further development of the curriculum and coaching offerings.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Experience in coaching, career counseling, startup consulting, or personal startup experience.
- Very good Arabic language skills for supporting the target group, as well as good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Enjoyment of working with people, empathy, and strong intercultural competence.
- Appreciative, independent, and structured way of working.
