About the Role

Serve as the central point of contact for trainees, nursing schools, practical instructors, and external partners regarding practical training within Sonnenhof. Coordinate and manage the creation and execution of the training schedule in collaboration with external partners. Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate practical training and the structured onboarding of new nursing staff. Provide competency-based guidance, instruction, and support to trainees during practical placements according to legal requirements. Develop, update, and implement the training concept, considering legal and internal quality standards. Ensure and continuously improve training quality through documentation, evaluation, feedback, and process optimization. Impart the hospice and palliative approach of our children's hospice and support trainees in the professional care of children, adolescents, and young adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Foster interprofessional collaboration and guide/reflect on challenging practical situations in a supportive and learning-conducive environment. Coordinate and professionally support the practical instructor team, planning and moderating regular meetings to promote a consistent and high-quality training culture. Prospectively take on coordinating and leadership tasks in practical training and actively contribute to the strategic development of practical training. Collaborate closely with nursing management and participate in strategic personnel and training development.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training as a registered nurse (general, pediatric, or geriatric).
  • Completed further professional education as a practical instructor in nursing according to legal requirements.
  • Sound knowledge in nursing and medical care.
  • Pedagogical skill and enjoyment in conveying knowledge clearly and practically.
  • Mindfulness and empathy in dealing with guests, their relatives, and trainees.
  • Organizational skills, strong communication, sense of responsibility, and reliability.
  • Initiative and willingness to continuously develop one's own pedagogical competence through regular training.
