About the Role
This role is for a Product Manager specializing in application procurement within the endpoint products division. The Product Manager will be the internal expert on vendor products, responsible for maintaining vendor relationships, proposing solutions to resellers, and driving company sales and profit growth. This position requires collaboration with hardware and software vendors to achieve departmental goals and a proactive, responsive approach to internal sales team requests.
Responsibilities
- Agree on quarterly and annual sales targets and create sales plans and KPIs accordingly, requesting manufacturer support.
- Negotiate pricing for strategic inventory procurement and adjust delivery dates for ordered products.
- Manage regular email newsletter distribution and banner placements on the company's e-commerce site.
- Conduct regular meetings with manufacturer sales representatives and request sales seminars and events.
- Manage sales targets for each department and implement measures to increase sales.
- Provide sales forecasts and manage deals.
- Support sales teams with product pricing and deal management, adjusting financial support for strategic deals to improve profit margins.
- Promote license renewals, manufacturer strategic products, and subsidy-eligible products internally to improve sales awareness.
- Handle inquiries from sales representatives, register products, make company-wide announcements, and create product flyers.
- Optimize inventory levels and adjust procurement timing and purchasing requests in coordination with the purchasing department.
- Improve profitability by visualizing departmental costs, resetting sales prices, and implementing profit improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Understanding of application (Subscription) structures and mechanisms, or relevant study/work experience.
- Experience in the IT industry (approximately 2-3 years) is preferred.
- Sales experience is preferred.
