About the Role
Walmart is expanding its workforce and looking for a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its local and regional team. This role is crucial for maintaining facilities to the highest standards and enhancing the customer experience. Join a dynamic team that values innovation, teamwork, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and tools.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities for stores and associates.
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training for safe operation of equipment and tools.
Requirements
- 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
- Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, OR 7 years' experience in one of these trades.
- 1 year's experience using intermediate-level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to move up and down ladders frequently.
- Comfortable working at heights frequently.
- Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
- Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
- No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

Salary/Compensations
- The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00.
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
