Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams through training, feedback, and effective communication.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by modeling standards and resolving customer issues.
  • Drive financial performance by reviewing financial statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
  • Ensure effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
  • Coordinate and complete job-related activities and assignments by developing stakeholder relationships and supporting initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Build high-performing teams and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Attract and retain talent, empower and develop associates, and recognize contributions.
  • Maintain and promote high standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Deliver results while putting the customer first, considering how, where, and when customers shop.
  • Make decisions based on data insights and analysis, balancing short and long-term priorities.
  • Display curiosity, take calculated risks, demonstrate courage and resilience, and encourage learning from mistakes.
  • Drive continuous improvements, adopt new technologies and skills, and support others through change.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training (for facilities that sell firearms).
  • Possession of a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility (for facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements).
  • Attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
