About the Role

The Senior Software Developer works within our collaborative R&D team to build and support software solutions for commercial HVAC operations. You will help develop and maintain applications that support automation, internal tools, and system development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including writing clean, testable code, debugging applications, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with teammates on evolving projects.
• Support existing systems.
• Deploy cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Contribute to testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to work independently in an R&D environment where projects may evolve.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals (Python preferred).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with Git and basic software development practices such as testing and debugging.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems in an evolving environment.
• Willingness to maintain and improve existing systems as well as develop new solutions.
• Exposure to technologies such as Docker, SQL, REST APIs, FastAPI, or cloud platforms (Azure preferred) is a plus.
