About the Role

This role focuses on configuring and testing complex building control systems, developing and testing software, and commissioning controllers. The position involves validating system functionality, troubleshooting, collaborating with project management and engineering, creating documentation, and providing training to clients.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test complex building control systems to meet contract specifications.
• Develop and test essential software programs.
• Load and commission controllers across system and network levels.
• Validate system functionality and troubleshoot issues for peak performance.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams.
• Create as-built drawings and software.
• Deliver training to owners or operators on the complete building control system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Building Automation Controls Systems, especially Schneider Electric, SmartStruxure, Space Logic, I/A, Andover Continuum, and/or Tridium Niagara R2/AX/N4.
• Two years experience with mechanical and/or electrical engineering systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems, and other building systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e LON, BacNet, etc.).
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers regarding inspection and service findings.
