About the Role
Seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Mechanical Project Engineer with experience in Building Systems design and construction to support the full lifecycle of infrastructure and energy-focused projects. This role involves performing engineering calculations, equipment selection, system layout and design, field investigations, and developing construction documents while ensuring compliance with codes and standards. The engineer will collaborate in a team, apply engineering judgment, lead technical meetings, manage workload, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions. Staying current on industry trends, conducting life cycle cost analyses, and supporting business development are also key aspects of this position. Travel may be required.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building infrastructure and/or energy reduction initiatives

- Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards
- Understanding of safety standards and environmental impact of a design
- Strong communication and customer service skills required
