About the Role
Partner with senior executives, lead business operations, deliver high-impact projects, and help shape the future direction of the agency. This role leads a small unit to deliver whole of agency business operations, people and safety projects, and partners with central corporate services functions. It also provides strategic advice and operational support services to the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-level executive support, business operations and strategic project delivery.
- Deliver whole of agency business operations, including governance.
- Deliver people and safety projects.
- Partner with central corporate services functions of the Transport portfolio.
- Provide strategic advice and operational support services to the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Trusted executive support or business management professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of government processes.
- Sound judgement.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive leader who can balance day-to-day delivery with driving strategic outcomes and leading a high-performing team.
