About the Role
Kasada has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer focused on compilers to join our team responsible for defending customers against automation. This role involves leveraging and inventing novel obfuscation techniques using custom languages and virtual machines to prevent bot attacks, contributing creative innovations to our VM and compiler, and establishing leadership in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities
- Building and enhancing the Kasada Virtual Machine
- Building and optimizing different stages of the compiler chain
- Translating proof-of-concept work from security research into practical solutions
- Performing research in collaboration with product and engineering teams
- Contributing to architecture design discussions for efficient solutions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Software Engineering role
- Understanding of compiler architecture
- Experience working with compilers
- Experience with ASTs
- TypeScript / JavaScript experience
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong debugging skills and willingness to delve into unknowns
- Understanding of writing user-based tests
