Responsibilities
- Drive sales opportunities in bioprocess, media, and advanced surface products in collaboration with sales and business operations teams to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Provide on-site technical support to customers as a trusted technical advisor.
- Support process development before and after sale through technical presentations, on-site product demonstrations, hands-on training, and process optimization activities.
- Build strong customer relationships and establish long-term commitment to Corning's technologies and platforms.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting support and advanced technical insights via email, phone, site visits, and workshops to ensure customer success.
- Align technical activities with company-wide business objectives by working closely with sales, marketing, lab, and global teams.
- Collect and analyze technical trends, customer feedback, and field information to proactively solve technical challenges faced by users, feeding insights back into products and strategies.
- Continuously enhance application expertise and contribute to the creation and development of application notes and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Research experience using cell culture techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cell culture/bioprocessing (including graduate research).
- Knowledge and practical experience in optimizing and troubleshooting cell culture and bioprocessing workflows.
- Experience using bioreactors and multi-layer culture vessels.
- Knowledge of microcarriers, multi-layer cell culture stacks, and culture surfaces.
- Basic English proficiency with a willingness to learn more.
