About the Role

We are looking for a creative Visual Merchandiser to join our growing POP MART team in Berlin. You will report to the Head of Visual Merchandising and work closely with our Retail and Marketing teams. You will play a key role in bringing our distinctive brand experience to life across all stores in Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the visual identity of one of the world’s leading designer toy brands in a growing market. The focus is on set and display design, as well as the execution of tailored installations—always aligned with brand guidelines. We are looking for someone who thinks creatively, creates strong visual impact, and contributes to revenue growth through consistent and engaging brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compelling regional visual merchandising strategies that align with POP MART’s global brand guidelines while resonating with local audiences
  • Design and execute eye-catching window displays, store layouts, and product presentations to showcase our designer toy collections
  • Conduct training sessions for store teams to ensure consistent and precise execution of visual standards
  • Support new store openings and marketing events
  • Perform regular store visits across Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark to ensure visual consistency and provide hands-on support to store teams
  • Collaborate with Retail and Marketing teams on seasonal displays and promotions that drive foot traffic and improve sales performance
  • Work closely with central visual merchandising and design teams to localize global concepts for local markets
  • Analyze the performance of visual merchandising initiatives; use customer engagement and sales data to optimize displays
  • Identify improvement opportunities within the region and develop scalable visual merchandising solutions that can be shared across the European market
  • Create clear, results-driven reports and documentation for campaign launches, localized projects, and market analyses, providing actionable insights to the Head of Visual Merchandising
  • Support the visual merchandising team both operationally and creatively by completing assigned tasks and ad-hoc projects in line with management direction

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in visual merchandising, retail design, event setup, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in visual merchandising, ideally with premium lifestyle brands; experience in designer toys, collectibles, or fashion accessories is a strong plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative, brand-aligned display concepts and visual storytelling work. A portfolio is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of spatial planning and product presentation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing responsibility for multiple retail locations
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly within Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark, including occasional overnight stays
