About the Role

Roster the frontline in-home aged care workforce using rostering and scheduling systems. Engage with clients to understand their needs, ensure the right support is delivered, and promote a sustainable workforce. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by ensuring clients receive the care and continuity of service they need.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand client needs in the development of schedules and rosters.
  • Develop best fit schedules for clients and optimize rosters for workers and the program.
  • Utilize established rostering processes to ensure that rosters are planned and distributed in advance.
  • Plan and adjust working rosters to reflect known impacts including leave.
  • Respond to ad hoc changes required by clients and workers.
  • Ensure rosters and schedules meet the support needs of their care plan and service agreements.
  • Match workers to rosters and clients based on skills, interest, and capability.

Requirements

  • Previous rostering experience.
  • Knowledge of workforce management principles, HSE, awards, and roster optimization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT savvy with strong skills in general computer applications.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team environment and with autonomy.
  • Understanding of and commitment to principles of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
