About the Role

As Data Licensing Lead, you will manage Domain’s compliance obligations across its data licensing arrangements, particularly with government entities. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort with contracts, audit requirements, compliance controls, and operational processes to ensure key obligations are met on time. You will collaborate with Legal, Product, Technology, Research, Data Partnerships, and external government licensors, taking ownership of the compliance operating rhythm. This hands-on role involves managing current government data partnerships, supporting new licensing arrangements, and responding to audits and requests, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts and obligations, monitoring key requirements and ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Drive compliance activities by partnering with stakeholders to implement and improve processes, controls, and governance.
  • Coordinate audits and reviews, supporting responses, information requests, and follow-up actions.
  • Support commercial initiatives by assisting with new data partnerships, licensing arrangements, and governance.
  • Monitor risks and actions, tracking commitments, compliance activities, and remediation.
  • Maintain accurate records, registers, schedules, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments with emphasis on contractual/legal/regulatory compliance.
  • Experience analyzing and managing contracts, licenses, and/or regulatory/legislative documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence in communicating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong professional and technical writing skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Experience with procurement processes (tenders, EOI’s, RFPs, RFT’s etc) or audits is a plus.
  • A background in legal, banking, compliance, or governance frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience interpreting and managing contracts is a plus.
