About the Role

W Sydney is seeking talented Commis Chefs for various outlets, including the Rooftop Bar, Signature Restaurant, and In-Room Dining. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about food, eager to grow in the industry, and can blend professionalism with playfulness to create unique guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
• Complete safety training and certifications

Requirements

• Available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed for business demands
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced and quality-driven working environment
• Must be passionate about food and keen to showcase their ability in a fast-paced environment
• Well-developed ability to work independently and as part of a strong, diverse and dynamic team
• Excellent organisational skills and strong work ethic
• Enthusiasm, awareness and great teamwork
• Able to communicate and showcase reliability
