About the Role

As a Project Lead (m/f/d/x) – TV Devices, you will manage the development, integration, certification, and commercial launch of set-top boxes and other TV devices, working closely with internal teams, national companies, and external partners. You will combine technical leadership with professional project management to facilitate technical decisions and coordinate dependencies across multiple teams in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Manage TV device projects end-to-end, from initiation through development, integration, certification, to commercial launch.
Manage the operational execution of project plans, milestones, budgets, risk management, and dependency tracking.
Provide technical leadership within the project, drive technical decisions, and ensure alignment between Engineering teams, national companies, OEMs, and technology partners.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product Management, Engineering, QA, Procurement, Operations, and Marketing.
Act as the central technical interface for national companies, ensuring alignment on architecture, requirements, integration, timelines, and launch readiness.
Coordinate technical implementation with OEMs, chipset vendors, middleware providers, certification partners, and other external suppliers.
Evaluate technical solution proposals and trade-offs, identify technical risks early, and drive their resolution.
Further develop common technical approaches, engineering standards, and KPIs for TV device programs.
Support the Program Lead in preparing technical status reports, project updates, and management briefings.
Coordinate product certifications, field testing, production readiness, and commercial launch activities.

Requirements

University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a comparable technical discipline.
At least five years of professional experience leading complex projects in TV devices, consumer electronics, or embedded software.
Proven experience working with OEMs, chipset vendors, middleware providers, and software integration partners.
Experience with both agile and traditional project management methodologies.
Ability to analyze complex technical topics in a structured way, prepare sound decisions, and align diverse technical stakeholders around common solutions.
