About the Role

The Product Owner will manage global English system(s) and capabilities throughout their lifecycle, focusing on continuous improvement. This role involves communicating product development, promoting adoption, representing users, and incorporating feedback to ensure customer needs are prioritized in all decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the procurement, development, configuration, quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance of new and legacy systems/platforms.
  • Works to reduce duplication of capabilities across the product portfolio for efficient fund utilization.
  • Owns and prioritizes the Product Backlog in alignment with business objectives, ensuring transparency and understanding.
  • Supports the global, regional, and country-level rollout of new products, advising on necessary modifications.
  • Ensures quality assurance of content delivered through systems in consultation with relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Guarantees platform content adheres to brand guidelines and features a user-friendly interface.
  • Maintains platform availability and functionality according to the service level agreement.
  • Applies advanced knowledge and technical expertise to resolve complex business issues related to technical platforms.
  • Contributes to the design and development of technical projects for platform enhancement.
  • Provides specialist technical support and advice to stakeholders.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with internal and external partners for integrated project delivery.
  • Provides relevant data to internal teams such as Proposition, Marketing, or Customer Management.
  • Develops business relationships with external consultants, technical innovators, and suppliers for new solutions and technologies.
  • Advises business development managers on technical solutions and their suitability and cost.
  • Develops professional networks internally and externally to enhance knowledge and expertise.
  • Contributes to the planning and management of the core budget for platforms and special initiatives.
  • Contributes to financial reporting on income, expenditure, and risk, applying learnings to improve financial performance.
  • Plans and prioritizes work activities to ensure effective delivery of responsibilities.
  • May have line management responsibilities.
  • Determines work plans and coordinates input from others to meet objectives on time and within budget.
  • Contributes ideas to support the development of discipline-wide and platform-specific business plans and priorities.

Requirements

  • Full-time residency in the UK or Poland with unlimited right to work.
  • Track record of successfully creating, launching, and scaling digital product development programs for B2C and B2B markets.
  • Demonstrable experience managing products through agile processes and working with user stories.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English.

Skills

  • ITIL Certification (desirable)
