About the Role

BRC staff help New Yorkers experiencing homelessness reclaim their lives by providing a hand up, offering opportunities for health and self-sufficiency, and restoring hope and dignity. Each and every BRC staff member makes heroic contributions to our city, providing vital services in times of crisis and need. Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of facility.
  • Sweep and mop floor, clean bathrooms, and windows.
  • Empty the garbage.
  • Receive deliveries, lift boxes and pick-up supplies.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Fill in at front desk as needed.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in housekeeping.
  • Ability to write, read, and communicate verbally in English.
  • Vaccination preferred but not required.
