About the Role

We are recruiting for two Procurement Co-Ordinator (Grade 6) roles on a permanent basis. One role will support Estates and FM areas of spend, and the other will support IT, Academic, Science, and Health-related areas of spend. Procurement sits within the Finance directorate, which has recently transitioned into a new operating model and structure following the merger of St George’s and City Universities. These roles require an interest in procurement, ideally public procurement, and would suit a good relationship-builder who is organised and can prioritise tasks. • Maintain a high standard of reporting.
  • Support on large procurements.
  • Take ownership for lower value/risk procurements within the category.
  • Act as a key point of contact for business queries and requests regarding procurement and suppliers.
  • Help develop and deliver training and communications to support the upskilling of business buyers.
  • Build and manage relationships with diverse groups of people, including internal stakeholders, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Manage competing tasks effectively.

Requirements
