About the Role
Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on commercial overhead doors, glass, glazing, and building entry doors.
Responsibilities
- Conducts regular inspection and preventative maintenance on commercial overhead doors, glass, glazing, building entry doors, and related hardware.
- Provides observations on conditions and deficiencies and suggestions for enhancements and repair.
- Responds to routine and on-demand service requests.
- Troubleshoots and resolves commercial overhead door and related hardware issues.
- Repairs, replaces, and installs door hardware components.
- Records resolution data in applicable logs/service maintenance management database, ensuring work meets quality and contract requirements.
- Receives, tracks, monitors, and reports status of maintenance work within applicable logs/service maintenance management database.
- Initiates documents to obtain formal approval of work required.
Requirements
- Must be able to work shifts, be on-call, and be available to respond to emergencies.
- Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment.
- Valid Driver's license required.
- Clean driver's abstract required.
- Clean criminal background check required.

- Ability to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems relating to doors and door hardware components.
