About the Role

This role is with Raymond James & Associates, a publicly-traded financial services firm, as a member of the Healthcare Finance team. The team focuses on healthcare services and providers, primarily not-for-profit organizations, offering services like capital markets activities, M&A advisory, and real estate advisory.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate new business proposals and pitches.
  • Develop company forecasts and valuations.
  • Evaluate merger and acquisition scenarios.
  • Evaluate debt profiles and develop financing ideas for clients.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis.
  • Assist with the execution of financing and M&A transactions.
  • Participate in client pitches and transaction execution.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, pitches, and RFP responses.
  • Maintain databases of healthcare industry transactions and capital markets data.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of the organization and clients.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Seek opportunities for professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, writing, verbal, and computer skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks with little notice.
  • Manage expectations of senior bankers while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
