About the Role

Responsible for managing the end-to-end investigator/site payment processes, including payment calculations, purchase order creation and management, and clinical trial payments. Acts as a liaison among colleagues within Contract & Centralized Services (CCS) and study teams to assist with complex issue resolution and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Train study teams on payment support and specific processes.
• Act as a liaison among colleagues within CCS and study teams for issue resolution and guidance.
• Analyze study-specific Total Contract Value (TCVC) and PO calculators using CTMS, CTAs, and interactions with SCMs, LTMs, and SMs.
• Create and send payment notifications to sites.
• Address queries, questions, and resolve issues with sites and study teams.
• Rectify failed payments for purchase requisitions.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer focus with a vision to drive solutions.
• Train new CCS team members on specific processes and technology.
• Manage people, including performance and development for a global virtual team.
• Develop talent to enhance team effectiveness.
• May include people management responsibility, including performance and development for a global virtual team.

Requirements

• 5 - 8 years of experience or equivalent competencies in the pharmaceutical industry/clinical research.
• Minimum of 4 years of payment experience with working knowledge of clinical payment processing and systems.
• Demonstrated AI literacy and an AI-enabled mindset, including the ability to apply AI tools responsibly.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong and proven analytical and problem-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of PCs (MS Office suite at a minimum).
• Must demonstrate an innovative spirit, possess strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to accomplish substantial tasks with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and other relevant guidance (HIPAA, FCPA, Safe Harbor, etc.) is preferred.
• Previous experience working in virtual teams is preferred.
• Previous people management experience is preferred.
• Follows standard policies and procedures for multiple departments, geographic areas, client groups, or projects.
• Work is performed with oversight by the Manager, Payments.
• Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are optional.
