About the Role
This position supports the Architectural Terra Cotta Division in field survey, digital documentation, and drafting of replacement terra cotta units on historic and restoration projects. The role requires interpreting contract documents, capturing existing conditions, and translating data into drafting deliverables and unit schedules.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Architectural Terra Cotta Division in all areas of field survey, digital documentation, and drafting of replacement terra cotta units on historic and restoration projects.
- Interprets contract documents.
- Accurately captures existing conditions.
- Translates field and digital survey data into clear drafting deliverables and unit schedules.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in façade survey, restoration, construction materials, or related field.
- Architectural terra cotta or historic façade experience strongly preferred.
- AutoCAD proficiency (3+ years preferred).
- Proficient in Applied Mathematics.
- Experience with photogrammetry and/or 3D laser scanning required.
- Autodesk Inventor experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) not required but a plus.
- Predictable and regular attendance is required.
- Ability to climb scaffolding and work from swing stage or lift equipment in compliance with safety requirements.
- Ability to access and observe façade conditions and removed terra cotta fragments on active construction sites.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand, walk, and sit.
- Frequently drive a personal vehicle to go to job sites or construction sites.
- Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Up to 25% travel time required.
