About the Role

As a Senior Consultant, you'll lead complex back-office transformation projects, acting as a trusted advisor to clients while managing project delivery from discovery through implementation. You'll combine operational expertise with strong consulting skills to help clients improve efficiency, optimise operating models, and deliver technology-enabled change.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-office transformation programmes across private equity and alternative asset managers.
• Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Facilitate workshops and engage senior stakeholders to define business requirements and operational improvements.
• Review and optimise fund operations, investment operations, finance, accounting, reporting, compliance and data management processes.
• Conduct business process mapping, operating model reviews and target operating model design.
• Lead vendor selection, system implementation and operational review engagements.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants while managing project workstreams.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, client presentations and solution design.
• Ensure accurate project governance, budget management and resource planning.

Requirements

• Experience delivering consulting or transformation projects within Private Markets, Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of back-office operations including: Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Portfolio Administration, Treasury & Cash Management, Investor Reporting, Financial Reporting, Regulatory & Compliance Operations, Data Management & Data Governance.
• Experience with operating model design and business process improvement.
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience leading workshops and managing senior client stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Commercially minded with a consulting mindset.
• Analytical and naturally curious.
• Comfortable leading client meetings and influencing senior stakeholders.
