About the Role

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Sage Intacct Senior Consultant to join their team. This role involves working directly with project managers and customers to deliver software solutions for implementation projects, aiming for high customer satisfaction and successful adoption. Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously, ensuring in-scope/on-budget/on-time delivery, high customer satisfaction, and successful customer adoption using a prescriptive implementation methodology.
  • Execute all aspects of the implementation process, including client consultation, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, testing, training, data cleansing, and data migration.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Sage Intacct software, including advanced modules, and stay current with product features.
  • Configure and implement Sage Intacct based on customer business processes and industry best practices.
  • Develop and deploy implementation project plans, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery while optimizing ROI.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced implementation resources.
  • Conduct end-user training, relating system functionality to customer business requirements.
  • Document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes using best practices and flowcharts.
  • Respond to customer technical support issues related to system implementation.
  • Design and build industry-specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Deliver prompt, concise, and friendly communications, providing high-quality service and leadership.
  • Contribute to and utilize the knowledge repository of deployment best practices.
  • Mentor Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects on processes, modules, and project management.
  • Serve as an escalation point for project issues.
  • Learn and grow through on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and firm-wide development programs.
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally and with clients.
  • Support team member growth through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
  • Participate in social activities and team outings that encourage work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business, or MIS.
  • General understanding of accounting terms through previous courses or experience.
  • Three (3)+ years of experience implementing Sage Intacct, ERP/financial applications, and/or other SaaS solutions.
  • Consulting experience end-to-end through the entire software delivery life cycle following a process-based methodology, or experience as an end-user who has gone through a software implementation or upgrade.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Initiative and adaptability.
  • Microsoft Suite skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
