About the Role

As a member of the Raptors Game Operations team, you will deliver championship service to ensure every fan has a memorable experience by executing on-court activities and in-arena promotions at all Raptors home games.

Responsibilities

• Be energetic and exciting entertainers with the ability to wow fans with high-energy dance moves, cheering, tumbling, and/or stunts.
• Actively participate in crowd cheers, distribution of game giveaways, and other fun interactive games/activities.
• Select contestants for on-court/in-stand contests and promotions.
• Ensure contestants clearly understand and are prepared to participate in the promotion and/or activity.
• Explain contestant waivers and ensure accurate completion.
• Set up, execute, and tear down all pre-game, halftime, and post-game promotions (signage, props, etc.).
• Assist with preparation and organization of all giveaways at Raptors 905 home games.
• Organize and prepare all promotions per the game script and ensure execution within the designated time frame.
• Interact and communicate positively and professionally with all MLSE staff and fans.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates are located in the GTA and able to reliably commute to the Mississauga Sports and Entertainment Centre in Mississauga, ON for work.
• Must be energetic, creative, dedicated, charismatic, and reliable.
• Must be flexible to work weekday shifts, weekends, and holidays during the day and evening.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 60% of Raptors 905 home games, possible playoff games, special events, and scheduled rehearsals.
• Must be an enthusiastic team player who enjoys interaction with fans of all ages.
• Must have a solid knowledge of the game of basketball.
• Must be able to take direction and show initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must work with enthusiasm and professionalism always.
• Must have a championship-winning attitude.
