About the Role
The Front Office Technology team is seeking a motivated engineer passionate about technology and financial markets to collaborate with investment professionals and build the next generation of Capstone's technology platform. This role offers exposure to various aspects of the hedge fund industry.
Responsibilities
- Partner with investment teams to deliver innovative technical solutions for derivatives markets.
- Architect, build, and maintain the global pricing platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop risk management software to support investment decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineers across technology and the firm to deliver an integrated platform.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or related field.
- Experience building production-level systems in an object-oriented language (e.g., Java or C#).
- Experience working with fixed income derivatives.
- 4+ years of working experience in the financial industry (buy or sell side).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative team player with strong verbal communication skills.
