About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Increase financial planning and investment knowledge through practice and advancing responsibility with planning teams and Wealth Advisors.
  • Complete financial plans, investment reports, tax and estate analysis as requested.
  • Spend the vast majority of time preparing for and participating in client meetings, documenting task items, and coordinating client service execution under the guidance of Associate Wealth Advisors and/or Wealth Advisors.
  • Gather data and information.
  • Bring forth observations to Lead Advisors regarding clients.
  • Provide limited oversight on simple projects and plans.
  • Observe and learn complex planning.
  • Attend networking events and begin to build relationships in the community and with COI peers.

Requirements

  • Basic level knowledge of financial planning, investment, and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, and Planning Software.
  • Experience with custodian interaction.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
  • High standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Bachelors' degree in a related field.
  • Working towards obtaining CFP credentials.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency with back-office processes and custodians.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
